The canton of Paray-le-Monial is a French constituency in the district Charolles , in Saône-et-Loire and the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . Its main town is Paray-le-Monial . André Accary ( UMP ) has been a representative in the General Council of the Département since 2004 .

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton Paray-le-Monial included the ten municipalities of Hautefond , L'Hôpital-le-Mercier , Nochize , Paray-le-Monial , Poisson , Saint-Léger-lès-Paray , Saint -Yan , Versaugues , Vitry-en-Charollais and Volesvres . Its layout corresponded to an area of 194.99 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 7138.
