The Canton of Mont-Saint-Vincent was 2015 a French constituency in the district of Chalon-sur-Saone , in Saône-et-Loire and in the region of Burgundy ; its main town was Mont-Saint-Vincent . Jean Girardon ( UDI ) was last representative in the General Council of the Département from 1979 to 2015, last re-elected in 2011 . The canton of Mont-Saint-Vincent was 143.52 km² and had (2006) 3008 inhabitants, which corresponded to a population density of 21 inhabitants per km². It was on average 389 meters above sea level, between 230 meters in Saint-Clément-sur-Guye and 601 meters in Mont-Saint-Vincent .
