Mary is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mont-Saint-Vincent in the north and northwest, Collonge-en-Charollais in the north and northeast, Joncy in the east, Saint-Martin-la-Patrouille in the southeast, and Saint-Marcelin-le-Cray in the south South-east, Le Rousset-Marizy in the south and south-west and Gourdon in the west and north-west.
