Auxy is a French municipality with 934 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Autun and the canton of Autun-2 (until 2015: canton of Autun-Sud ). The inhabitants are called Alciens .
geography
Auxy is about seven kilometers east of Autun . Auxy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Curgy in the north, Sully in the north and northeast, Morlet in the east and northeast, Tintry in the east and southeast, Saint-Émiland in the southeast, Antully in the south and Autun in the west.
