Igornay is a French municipality with 539 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Burgundy ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Autun and the canton of Autun-1 (until 2015 canton of Lucenay-l'Évêque ).

Igornay is located about twelve kilometers north-northeast of Autun in the Morvan massif on the Lacanche river . Igornay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Voudenay in the north, Viévy in the east, Saint-Léger-du-Bois in the south-east, Dracy-Saint-Loup in the south and south-west, Cordesse in the west and south-west and Barnay in the north-west.
