Saint-Firmin is a French municipality with 889 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the Arrondissement Autun and the canton Le Creusot-2 (until 2015: canton Le Creusot-Est ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Serninois .

Saint-Firmin is a banlieue in the northeast of Le Creusot . Saint-Firmin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Émiland in the north, Saint-Pierre-de-Varennes in the east, Le Breuil in the south, Le Creusot in the southwest, Saint-Sernin-du-Bois in the west and Antully in the west.
