The Communauté urbaine Le Creusot Montceau-les-Mines is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté urbaine in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It was founded on January 13, 1970 and comprises 34 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in the city of Le Creusot .

Historical development

The community association founded back in 1970, was last with effect from 1 January 2017 to three municipalities from the dissolved Communauté de communes des Monts et des Vignes and four municipalities from the dissolved Communauté de communes entre la Grosne et le Mont-Saint-Vincent expands .
