Pouilloux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Vallier in the north, Saint-Romain-sous-Gourdon in the east, Le Rousset-Marizy in the south and south-east, Martigny-le-Comte in the south and Ciry-le-Noble in the west.
