Tintry is a French commune with a population of 78 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Bourgogne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Autun and the canton of Autun-1 ( canton Épinac until 2015 ).

Tintry is about 17 kilometers east-southeast of Autun . Tintry's neighboring municipalities are Morlet in the north and northeast, Collonge-la-Madeleine in the east and northeast, Saint-Gervais-sur-Couches in the southeast, Saint-Martin-de-Commune in the south and southeast, Saint-Émiland in the southwest and Auxy in the West.
