Barnay is a French commune of 100 people (as of January 1, 2017) in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Burgundy ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Autun and the canton of Autun-1 (until 2015 canton of Lucenay-l'Évêque ).
geography
Barnay is located about 15 kilometers north-northeast of Autun in the Morvan massif. Barnay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Manlay in the north, Voudenay in the east, Igornay in the southeast, Cordesse in the south, Reclesne in the southwest and Lucenay-l'Évêque in the west.
