geography

Le Breuil is a banlieue to the east of Le Creusot . The two large lakes, the Grand Étang de Torcy and the Étang de Montaubry, are located in the municipality . Le Breuil is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Firmin in the north, Saint-Pierre-de-Varennes in the northeast, Essertenne and Saint-Julien-sur-Dheune in the east, Écuisses in the southeast, Torcy in the south and Le Creusot in the west.
