The McIntyre Bluffs are 1000 m high cliffs in the east Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . In the Mawson Escarpment, they jut out to the west between the Greenall and Turk glaciers .
Aerial photographs taken in 1956, 1960 and 1973 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) were used to map them. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named him after the Australian politician Laurence McIntyre (1912-1981), deputy head of the Australian Department of External Affairs under James Plimsoll from 1965 to 1970.
