The Canton Gueugnon is a French constituency in the district Charolles , in Saône-et-Loire and the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . Its main town is Gueugnon . Dominique Lotte ( PS ) has been a representative in the General Council of the Department since 2008 .

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Gueugnon included the nine municipalities of Chassy , Clessy , Curdin , Gueugnon , La Chapelle-au-Mans , Neuvy-Grandchamp , Rigny-sur-Arroux , Uxeau and Vendenesse-sur-Arroux . Its layout corresponded to an area of 241.08 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 7120.
