René Horn (born October 31, 1985 in Frankfurt (Oder) ) is a former German weightlifter and today's coach. He was active in the class up to 105 kg.
Life
René Horn grew up in Frankfurt (Oder). He started lifting weights at the age of eight and switched to the elite sports school at the age of 12 . At the age of 16 he joined the (youth) national team, at the age of 20 he joined the men's national team.
Horn started in the weightlifting Bundesliga for SV Germania Obrigheim and in singles for the Athletik-Sport-Klub Frankfurt (Oder) eV. European championships at and at international comparison competitions.
In 2013 he completed his last international competition at the World Cup in Russia.
After his active career, Horn began to pass on his knowledge in weightlifting seminars and individual coaching.
Since 2013 he has also dealt with the topic of martial arts. These include kickboxing , LutaLivre and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu .
