René Jørgensen
René Jørgensen (born July 26, 1975 in Herning ) is a former Danish cyclist .
René Jørgensen began his career in 1998 with the Home-Jack & Jones cycling team , later the CSC team . In 2002 he switched to EDS-Fakta , where he drove for two years until the team was dissolved. In his first season there he won the Herning Gadelob race . In 2004 he drove for Alessio-Bianchi , which also broke up at the end of the season. In 2005 he moved to the British Professional Continental Team Barloworld-Valsir . Among other things, he finished third at the Aarhus GP and once stage runner-up in the Tour of Qinghai Lake . Jørgensen has been driving for the Danish Continental Team Designa Køkken since 2006 .
At the end of the 2012 season, he announced that he would end his career.
