René Kretzschmar

René Kretzschmar (born April 22, 1979 in Brandenburg an der Havel , GDR ) is a German politician ( DIE LINKE ) and was a member of the Brandenburg state parliament from 2012 to 2014 .

Kretzschmar trained as a bricklayer from 1995 to 1998 and then worked as a driver for a furniture forwarding company until 2000. From 2000 to 2004 he made up his Abitur. He then completed a degree in political science and education and completed his master's degree in 2011 . Professionally, he worked from October 2007 to September 2008 as an employee of the parliamentary group in the Brandenburg state parliament and from November 2009 until he took over the mandate in December 2012 for Diana Golze , member of the Bundestag .

Kretzschmar joined the PDS in February 1998, which was renamed Die Linkspartei.PDS in July 2005 and DIE LINKE in June 2007. rose. For this party he has been a member of the city council in Brandenburg an der Havel since October 2008 and has been parliamentary group chairman since April 2012. On December 11, 2012, he moved to the state parliament for the retired Gerlinde Stobrawa . Here he was a member of the Petitions Committee since December 2012 and a member of the Committee for Infrastructure and Agriculture since October 2013, of which he became Chairman in December 2013. After the state elections in Brandenburg in 2014 , he left the state parliament.
