René Rogalla (born December 19, 1963 ) is a Swiss football referee .

Career

Rogalla came from a football-loving family. Rogalla's father Klaus senior was already a referee. Rogalla began his referee career in 1986 together with his brother Klaus Rogalla junior. In the 1998/1999 season, Rogalla rose to the highest Swiss league (then the NLA). From 2000, Rogalla was a FIFA referee. Among other things, Rogalla led the legendary 11: 3 between FC Wil and FC St. Gallen , the highest-scoring game in the top Swiss league. In 2003, Rogalla led the final of the Swiss Cup. After retiring in the top league, Rogalla continued to direct minor league games and work as a stage manager in the Super League.

Private life

Rogalla works at Bank Cler as an office manager.
