The program was moderated by René Schwuchow and Christopher "Schöni" Schönborn. The show includes interviews and light entertainment with celebrities in the adult entertainment industry . Each episode lasts about 45 minutes. The program was identified as unsuitable for viewers under the age of 16 ( FSK16 ).

According to his own statements, René Schwuchow has been producing clips since 2004 and published them on video platforms on the Internet . In February 2012, the talk show Die René Schwuchow Show followed on YouTube . The show was produced in a studio in Berlin - Hohenschönhausen .

The YouTube channel iwantmybodyback reached 80,000 subscribers and a total of 50 million views, but was blocked in October 2013 due to violations of YouTube's terms of use.

In April 2013, the German television broadcaster Sport1 secured the first broadcast rights for The René Schwuchow Show - 6 to 12 and placed the program in the evening program on Friday at 11:54 p.m. The format of the talk show was retained.

After being withdrawn from the broadcast program and switching to a streaming format on March 6, 2015, production of the show was discontinued only a short time later.
