Live and act

In 2000, Hartwig founded Aktion Eule , under which companies sponsored the author's novel for young people, “Dangerous Curiosity”, which enabled the books to be given away to school classes.

From 2007 to 2014 the - according to her own point of view - advocate of patients and general practitioners published against the health policy dominated by "capital interests", from 2015 with a focus on fiction.

In 2017, together with a school class, the youth novel in danger of collapsing was created , in which hostilities behind the peaceful facade of a school are portrayed in a novel-like manner and also resolved.

In 2018, Direct Verlag published her latest novel Erbschleicher and other relatives , which deals with interventions by sociopaths in previously intact family structures. According to the author, it is a factual novel.

From 1994 to 2004 she was the editor in charge of the magazine "Direct Report" published by her husband's "Direct Verlag".
