Renate Neumann (born March 31, 1940 in Liegnitz ) is a German sculptor and draftsman .

From 1964 to 1967 she was a student of the Frankfurt artist Walter Hergenhahn at the evening school of the Städelschule .

Since 1969, and especially in the 1980s, she attracted attention nationwide with exhibitions, including in 1979 by participating in the group "We" at the C. Paul Gallery in Munich .

The artist lives with her partner in Frankfurt am Main .
