Renato César , full name Renato César Pérez , (born August 16, 1993 in Maldonado ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

César first played in his native Maldonado for the Ituzaingó club. At that time it was also used in the department selection of Maldonado . The 1.64-meter-tall offensive player joined Nacional Montevideo at the age of 16 and has been in the top division since at least the 2011 Clausura . In that half-series there was a use (no goal) in the Primera División for him. In the following season 2011/12, which Nacional finished as the Uruguayan champions just like the year before, he made eight first division appearances and one goal. In 2012/13 he played in eleven league games (three goals) and three matches (no goal) of the Copa Libertadores . In the 2013/14 season he played eight league games (no goal) and three games in the 2014 Copa Libertadores . In mid-August 2014 he moved to Switzerland on loan to FC Lugano . In the 2014/15 season he was used 14 times (one goal) in the Challenge League and once (no goal) in the Swiss Cup. He then returned to Nacional and was loaned out again in July 2015. The receiving club was now the Uruguayan first division promoted Liverpool Montevideo . In the Apertura 2015 he played eleven league games and scored one goal. After returning to Nacional at the end of the year, he was transferred to the second division Villa Española at the beginning of March 2016 , where he contributed to promotion in the Clausura 2016 with ten second division appearances (no goal). In the first division season of 2016 he was used in eleven league games (one goal). After the relegation of his club, he joined the CD Palestino in February 2017 . With the Chileans he has so far (as of March 2, 2017) completed three first division matches (one goal) and one game (no goal) in the Copa Sudamericana 2017 .

National team

César made his debut on June 6, 2012 in the U-20 national team of Uruguay, which was coached by Juan Verzeri , in a 4-2 win against the United States. He was part of the squad of the Uruguayan U-20 team at the U-20 South American Championship in Argentina in 2013 and played four games (no goal) during the tournament. So far (as of November 16, 2013) he has completed eleven international matches (four goals) in this age group.
