Renato Kaiser

Renato Kaiser (born November 20, 1985 in Goldach SG ) is a Swiss slam poet , cabaret artist , stand-up comedian and presenter .

Life

Renato Kaiser has been on stage as a poetry slammer since 2005. In 2012 he became Swiss poetry slam champion.

From 2010 to 2012 he appeared in his first full-length program “He wasn't like that - an obituary” . From 2013 to 2016 his second program "INTEGRATIONAL - An evening for Swiss, Germans, Eastern Swiss, dandelions and other marginalized groups" ran . His current program “Renato Kaiser in the commentary column - satire with brain and heart” has been running since autumn 2016 .

Kaiser has been part of the satirical program Zytlupe on Radio SRF 1 since 2018, alongside Gabriel Vetter . In addition, he has been part of the late-night program Late Update with Michael Elsener on SRF 1 since 2019 .

In autumn 2019 he hosted the television program “Tabu” on SRF 1. As part of the program, Kaiser spent four days per episode with four people who belong to a fringe group or are perceived as a minority. He processes these experiences in a short stand-up stage program.
