Renato Parascandolo

Renato Parascandolo (born September 26, 1945 in Naples ) is an Italian journalist, author, lecturer and television director.

Parascandolo was director of the television programs RAI Educational from 1998 to 2002 and of Rai Trade from 2007 to 2011. From 1998 he taught a. a. at the University of Siena and the University of La Sapienza in Rome. Parascandolo, who has received several awards, has been responsible for numerous television programs in the journalistic and scientific field since 1974: “Cronaca” (1974–1986), “Prima Pagina” (1976–1981), “Enciclopedia Multimediale delle Scienze Filosofiche” (1987–2008), “ MediaMente ”(1994–2002) and several others.

As an author, he published seven works on television with a focus on the information society . In 1984 he co-directed L'addio a Enrico Berlinguer .
