Rendez-vous (radio broadcast)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Rendez-vous is next to echo the time the second big message format of the public Swiss radio . It is broadcast from Monday to Friday at 12:30 p.m. on SRF 1 , SRF 2 Kultur , SRF Musikwelle and SRF 4 News . It starts with a news block, followed by interviews and background reports that last until 1 p.m. The rendez-vous includes the thirty-minute "talk of the day" beginning at 1 p.m., in which a guest is interviewed on a current topic.

At the weekend, an extended message block and sports news are sent instead of rendezvous.

Ivana Pribakovic heads the editorial office; other editors are Karoline Arn, Afra Gallati, Thomas Müller and Thomas Zuberbühler. Susanne Brunner and Marc Lehmann are responsible for the daily discussion.

In 2018, the SRG Board of Directors decided to relocate the editing of Rendez-vous 2020 from Bern to Zurich. After protests, this was waived, but SRF 4 News and the newsroom in Zurich were centralized.
