Repeller

Repeller (from Latin repellere , 'to push back') means:

  • a repulsive fixed point in the theory of dynamic systems, see attractor
  • a device for scaring animals, see repellent
  • Rotor or turbine that extracts energy from the driving medium (water or wind); z. B. the rotor of a wind turbine, often referred to as a “ propeller ” .
