history
The company was founded in 2002 by Marc Möhring and Sascha Jungnickel. Initially, the company worked on the title Sabotage , a stealth action game during World War II that would later become Velvet Assassin . However, since no publisher could be found for this title, the collaboration with Moonbyte Studios began at the end of 2004 on Crashday , a racing game that was released by Atari SA in February 2006 .
In 2006, Replay Studios developed Tunnel Rats , a first-person shooter for Uwe Boll parallel to the action film of the same name . The title was released on Steam in 2007 .
Then sat Replay Studios working on sabotage continued that with the cooperation with the publisher Gamecock in Velvet Assassin has been renamed. In 2008, Gamecock was bought by South Peak , which Velvet Assassin released in April 2009 for Xbox 360 and PC.
In August 2009, Replay Studios filed for bankruptcy and was closed.
