Reppringhausen (also Repprighausen ) is a submerged village in the area of ​​today's city of Bad Berleburg in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district in North Rhine-Westphalia . Reppringhausen belonged to the parish of Girkhausen .

The place was two kilometers southwest of Girkhausen. The settlement still exists under the field name of the same name.

history

The village was first mentioned in a document in 1396. The downfall of the village could be related to the downfall of Reckertshausen . The plague epidemics of 1568 and 1629 as well as martial influences during the Thirty Years' War could have been reasons for the decline.
