Republican Party of Germany (1945)

The Republican Party of Germany (RPD, also RPD) was a small German party that was founded in 1945. She worked mainly in Hamburg and later in Berlin . The only chairman of the party was Wilhelm Dreusicke .

The RPD campaigned for immediate reunification , striving for a "synthesis" of capitalism and socialism in economic policy. She took part in the Hamburg state election in 1946 (0.1%) and remained active in Hamburg until around 1948. Until 1954 she was active in Berlin, where she increasingly moved to the right. In 1960 it dissolved, Dreusicke joined the FDP .
