Requiem for an Almost Lady is a 1971 studio album by the American country and folk singer Lee Hazlewood (1929–2007), initially only released in Great Britain, Germany and Sweden . It was not until 1999 that the independent label Smells Like Records released it in the USA.
It's a concept album in a sense ; as the title suggests, the 10 songs revolve around past love affairs. The arrangement is almost entirely limited to guitar, bass and Hazlewood's baritone vocals.
