Research Institute of Petroleum Industry
The RIPI ( R esearch I nstitute of P etroleum I ndustry, Research Institute of Petroleum) is a the Iranian oil ministry associated scientific institute that in the field of oil - and natural gas - exploration and in particular the development and optimization of chemical processes and equipment works. The focus is on application-oriented research through to the design and operation of production facilities.
The RIPI was founded in 1959 and today employs around a thousand people. The location is the capital of Iran, Tehran .
