Reserva Nacional El Nogalar de Los Toldos

Reserva Nacional El Nogalar de Los Toldos is a natural park near the town of Los Toldos in the department of Santa Victoria in the province of Salta in northern Argentina. The park was established in 2006. The namesake for the park are the growing walnut trees of the species Juglans australis (Spanish nogal criollo ). The park's vegetation also consists of ferns, creepers and other epiphytes . The park has an area of ​​3240 hectares.

The climate is subtropical to tropical with annual rainfall of around 2000 mm. The average temperature in summer is 24 ° C, with a maximum of around 30 ° C. In winter, temperatures drop to an average of 14 ° C. In the higher elevations, snow falls in winter.
