The cinema hall of the Residenz Theater at Graf-Adolf-Straße 20 in the Stadtmitte district of Düsseldorf was designed by Wilhelm Kreis in 1925 .

The auditorium of the “Residenz-Theater” cinema, which was built between 1912 and 1913, was redesigned in 1925 to reflect the times. The cinema hall with 267 seats has the floor plan of an octagon . The places are distributed on two levels. There are a number of boxes on the rear end wall of the parquet . In the ranking of the second floor, the balconies raise circle across the lower auditorium. The canvas is lavishly framed. It is covered by a large shell in the form of a shell. The balcony parapets are decorated with a geometric pattern. The cinema hall of the Residenz Theater is one of the few surviving examples of cinema architecture from the 1920s.
