UN Security Council resolution 1583

The United Nations Security Council Resolution 1583 calls Lebanon to end the full control of its border with Israel to take (See: Hezbollah ). The resolution was unanimously adopted by the United Nations Security Council at its 5117th session on January 28, 2005, also stating: “The Council has approved the Blue Line for the purpose of confirming the Israeli withdrawal under UN Security Council Resolution 425 accepted."

The bill, tabled by Denmark , France , Greece , Romania , Great Britain and the United States , was unanimously adopted on January 28, 2005.
