Council of Europe resolution 1952 (2013)

The Resolution 1952 (2013) the Council of Europe was founded on October 1, 2013 by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe adopted in Strasbourg at its 31st session. It is entitled “Children's right to physical integrity”. It concerns the physical integrity of intersex children as well as other issues such as female genital mutilation , the circumcision of boys for religious reasons , and the submission or coercion of children to piercings , tattoos or cosmetic surgery . The rapporteur was Marlene Rupprecht .
