The Windows Resource Kit (formerly probably only [ English ] resource kit called to dt. Literally finishing agents ) are collections of auxiliary applications and detailed descriptions that Microsoft for many of its products, such as Windows and Office published. They were introduced with Windows 3.0 in 1991.

The Windows Resource Kits are used to help system administrators with maintenance and troubleshooting. The first Resource Kit was released for Windows 3.0 (1991), and since then there has been a Resource Kit for every Microsoft operating system, including DOS (1992), with the exception of Windows Me .
