Hiller Restaurant (Berlin)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Hiller restaurant was a small restaurant in Berlin , Unter den Linden 62/63.

The "Hiller" was taken over in 1886 by the innkeeper Lorenz Adlon (1849–1921) from Mainz , who successfully established a foothold in Berlin. Almost all of the German nobility were among the guests . In 1912 Lorenz Adlon sold the Hiller restaurant to Alfred Walterspiel for 7,000 marks . It was closed in 1917 due to the outdated luxury business due to the war and , like many other hotels and restaurants, destroyed in the Second World War .
