Peter Franz Ignaz Deiters (born February 12, 1804 in Münster , † March 30, 1861 in Bonn ) was a German lawyer and member of the Frankfurt Parliament from 1848 .

He studied in Berlin and Bonn, where he received his doctorate in law in 1825 and qualified as a private lecturer in 1825 . In 1830 he became an associate professor and in 1836 a full professor of German law. He was a member and for a long time chairman of the municipal council of the city of Bonn and was elected by the latter in 1848 as a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly. In the years 1845/46 and 1856/57 he was rector of the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . He was a member of the Society of German Natural Scientists and Doctors .
