Reto Lampart

Reto Lampart (* 1968 in Urnäsch ) is a Swiss chef .

Career

After training as a chef, he completed an additional apprenticeship as a confectioner and was a pastry chef for various chefs in Switzerland. Then he became head chef at the Adler restaurant in Nebikon . In 1993 Lampart became head chef at the Taggenberg restaurant in Winterthur .

In 2000, Reto and Anni Lampart opened the Lampart’s restaurant , which is located in a coach house from 1840 that has been renovated in an English country house style. The restaurant has been awarded two Michelin stars since 2004.

In April 2019, they announced that they would close the restaurant at the end of 2019.
