The Reuter Electronic GmbH & Co. is a company from Haiger in Hesse Lahn-Dill-Kreis . It previously traded under the name of Funktechnischer Gerätebau Reuter & Co. and Reuter Electronic KG and, according to its own information, specializes in welding technology , control technology , safety technology and telecommunications .

Reuter affair

The managing director bribed officials from the Customs Criminal Police Office until 1999 , who had preferred to order technology from his company. He was in custody for this in 1999. In 2002 he was sentenced by the Cologne Regional Court for bribing officials from the Cologne Customs Criminal Police Office and granting advantages to a fine of 1.5 million euros and a suspended prison sentence of 21 months. Big Brother Award 2009

In October 2009, the company and DigiTask were awarded the negative “ Big Brother Award ” in the business category, which is awarded for improper use of technology and information.
