Revue Jules Verne

The Revue Jules Verne was published twice a year, French literary magazine , by the Center International Jules Verne , based in Amiens was issued to, 2014. The publication, which has been published since 1996, served to promote and publicize studies of the work of the French writer Jules Verne in various directions. It also served the members of the affiliated association as a membership magazine and publication organ.

The founder of the Jules Verne revue was the film director, writer and painter Jean-Paul Dekiss. The predecessor of the magazine was the bulletin "JV", which appeared from 1987 to 1996 in 37 issues. The revue Jules Verne mainly bundled literary studies by the world's leading authors ( Vernien ) on the subject of Jules Verne. In the individual editions, the editors combine various approaches into a thematic program that includes literary, scientific or artistic aspects.

The script regularly contained an interview with an intellectual, literary or cultural figure who was influenced by the work of Jules Verne. Among them were personalities like Julien Gracq , Michel Serres , Michel Butor , Péter Esterházy and Régis Debray .

From 2003 to 2011 the font was published in collaboration with the city of Amiens, the library of Amiens and friends of the library of Nantes and the Maison de Jules Verne in Amiens. With the end of the financial support of the Center International Jules-Verne by the city of Amiens in May 2015, the active activities of the association and thus the publication of the magazine came to an end, as no more funds were available for it.
