The Rexford Glacier is a glacier in the north of Thurston Island before Eights Coast of the West Antarctic Ellsworthlands . It flows in a north-easterly direction to the head end of Wagoner Inlet .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2003 after Phillip Walter Rexford (1925-2016), aircraft operator on board a Martin PBM Mariner during Operation Highjump (1946-1947) carried out by the United States Navy to create aerial photographs of the Thurston -Island and the neighboring mainland coast.
