Yusuf Aktaş (born December 6, 1995 in Istanbul ), better known by his pseudonym Reynmen , is a former Turkish vlogger and singer of Kurdish descent.

Life

Aktaş, whose family emigrated from İskenderun to Sivas , grew up in Bağcılar and studied radio and television after school. Under the pseudonym Reynmen, he made a name for himself in Turkey via the video social network Scorp and subsequently became popular on YouTube and Instagram . In addition to his comedy clips, he also released several songs on the platform. He became particularly famous for the solo single Derdim Olsun , which reached over 200 million views within six months.

On July 12, 2019, he released the single Ela , which received 14 million views on YouTube within 22 hours. He exceeded a record previously set by rapper Mero by more than 3.5 times. The single reached number 51 in the German charts and number 61 in the Austrian charts.
