The Rhenish Fire Brigade Museum in the Erkelenz district of Lövenich was opened on May 28, 1994 in the village center, Hauptstrasse 23. The municipal museum on the subject of fire services emerged from the private collection of Peter Höpgens and is now operated by the Rheinisches Feuerwehrmuseum Lövenich eV association. The museum complex includes a former residential building, which is now a listed building, and the hall of a former repair shop of an agricultural machinery dealer , connected by an inner courtyard . In addition to the permanent exhibition , changing exhibitions are regularly presented in a shop window .
