Rišard Kurylo

Rišard Kurylo (Polish Ryszard Kurylo , lit. Ričardas Kurylo ; born January 4, 1943 in Kaptarūnai , Rajon Pastawy , Wizebskaja Woblasz , Belarusian SSR ) is a Lithuanian chess player of Polish origin.

Life

After graduating from secondary school, Kurylo completed his diploma in radio engineering at the Politechnikos institutas in Kaunas in 1966 . After that, he received his PhD in technology and in 1989 became a candidate in engineering sciences. From 1966 to 1995 he worked at the Ventos Research Institute and from 1996 to 1997 as deputy head of a mine in the company UAB Skaiteks. From 1997 to 2001 he was project group leader at Multilink Technology, from 2002 to 2005 High Performance Technology . From 2005 to 2008 he was scientific director at Lime Microsystems .

In 2005 he was named International Correspondence Chess Master.

From 1998 to 2004 he was Vice President of Lietuvos korespondencinių šachmatų federacija .
