Riahi Rabih (born 1912 in Orléansville , Algeria , † May 1946 in Marseille ) was a French football player .

Career

Rabih played for the team of the club Olympique Marseille , which secured qualification for the 1932 newly created professional league Division 1 during the 1931/32 season . So he went from now on in the top French division, in which he made his debut on September 11, 1932 in the 2-1 victory of his team against Olympique Lille and thus had part in the first game of the new division.

Afterwards he did not get beyond occasional missions, but became a regular player in the 1933/34 season. So he would have actually been seeded in the cup final in 1934 , but fell out due to injury and had to experience a defeat of his team; the following year, his fate repeated itself, with the team being able to win the title differently than before and Rabih was not directly involved in winning the trophy despite appearances in the previous tournament rounds. Following that, he lost his regular place in midfield ; he played his last first division game on January 5, 1936 in a 1-1 draw against FC Sète . In the same year he ended his professional career at the age of about 24, in which he came to 57 first division games with six goals.
