Ricarda Ciontos

Ricarda Ciontos (born June 28, 1968 ) is a German actress , curator , project manager and, since 2005, artistic director of the NORDWIND platform and festival in Berlin.

Career

Ciontos studied from 1998 to 2001 at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Saarbrücken. During this time she was employed at the Theater an der Josefstadt in Vienna. This was followed by engagements in Vienna, Mannheim, Magdeburg and Berlin until 2005. From 1996 to 1998 Ciontos also worked as an actress at the Salzburg Festival . Between 2000 and 2005 she had various engagements in Vienna, Berlin, Mannheim, Heidelberg, St. Alberg, Tbilisi, Bucharest and Piatra Neamt. She has worked with directors such as Gábor Tompa , Otar Egadze, Þorleifur Örn Arnarsson , Eberhard Köhler, Alexander Waechter , Andrei Serban and Vladimir Sorokin.

In 2005 she established the NORDWIND platform and festival .

In addition to her work as a curator, Ciontos also devotes herself to teaching activities such as the 2015-2016 course "Women in Management Positions" at the Viadrina European University in Frankfurt / Oder and the PAP / Performing Arts Program / Mentoring Program of the Berlin Senate.

Since 2016 she has been Associate Producer for Future Perfect Productions, one of the largest contemporary art agencies in New York City.

In addition to Romanian and German, Ciontos also speaks English, French and Italian.
