Rich little
Richard Caruthers "Rich" Little (born November 26, 1938 in Ottawa , Ontario ) is a Canadian actor and comedian who is famous primarily for his imitations of well-known personalities.
Life
Even as a child, Rich Little enjoyed imitating other people. At the age of 17 he had his first appearances in various nightclubs, where he was later accompanied by Eddie Hazell . He was also successful as a DJ - especially because of his comical interludes. In 1963, at an audition for Mel Tormé, he won a role in a new show and so gained a foothold in American show business.
He then became a regular guest on various television shows. In 1974 Little was named "Star of the Year" by the American Guild of Variety Artists . In 1976 he hosted his Rich Little Show . Today Little lives in Las Vegas , where he still performs regularly.
