Richard Eckert

Richard Eckert (born November 9, 1938 in Łódź , Poland) is a German physicist and former politician. From 1992 to 1996 he was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg .

Life

Eckert fled Poland in 1945. He went to school in Cottbus and graduated from high school there in 1956. He studied physics at the University of Stuttgart with a diploma. From 1965 to 1992 he was in a research laboratory in Stuttgart. 1986 doctorate he attended the Vienna University of Technology to Dr. techn.

From 1984 to 2002 he was a member of The Republicans Party . He was chairman of the Stuttgart district association and a member of the Baden-Württemberg state executive board. From 1989 to 1992 he was a councilor in the Stuttgart municipal council. After the state elections in Baden-Württemberg in 1992 , he was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg until 1996. From 1996 to 2000 he was a member of the Stuttgart-Möhringen district advisory board .

Eckert has been married since 1967 and has two sons.
