Richard Esponda

Richard Esponda , sometimes also known as Marcelo Esponda , (born October 21, 1969 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan boxer.

Richard Esponda took part with the Uruguayan team in the 1986 South American Games in Chile . There he won the bronze medal in the flyweight division . In the late 1980s, Buenos Aires- based Esponda fought four fights with a match record of one win and three losses. After he lost to Carlos Alfredo Farina by knockout in Montevideo on May 6, 1988 , his fight against Ruben Batista in the Argentine capital also ended on June 25 of that year with a defeat on points. He was then victorious on November 26, 1988 against Sandro Orlando Oviedo . On September 23, 1989, another point defeat against Oscar Dante Reynoso is recorded.
