Richard Kick

Richard Kick (born May 2, 1947 in Weiden in the Upper Palatinate ) is a former German triple jumper .

At the European Athletics Indoor Championships he was seventh in Rotterdam in 1973 , sixth in Gothenburg in 1974 and eighth in 1977 in San Sebastián . In total, Kick competed in 26 championships and international matches in the national jersey.

In 1972 and 1973 he was German champion. In the hall he was German champion in 1974 and runner-up five times (1973, 1976–1979).

He set his personal best of 16.27 m on June 9, 1973 in Munich .

Richard Kick began his sporting career at TSG Regensburg-Süd. He started from 1971 to 1975 for TSV 1860 Munich , then for LAC Quelle Fürth .
